That might be credible... Actually it wouldn't and that's not even taking into account the fact that there are only about 200 million people in the world who speak German either as a first or a foreign language and Querdunken TV's entire output is in German.
Incidentally Querdunken TV is a repository for all things conspiracy theory and Dr Michael Vogt is an extreme right wing lunatic... So no surprise Lenny got a spot...
Incidentally... In keeping with my standard method of measuring the actual fame of people on the internet (as opposed to the fame inside their head) against a fixed scale... The Muppets... Querdunken TV have two YouTube channels with a total subscriber base of less than 20,000... As at time of writing The Muppets channel has 515,966...
I actually looked this Vogt guy up because I'd certainly never heard of him. I couldn't find any English-language info about him, which led me to believe that maybe his audience was much smaller than Lenny was claiming (I know, big surprise, huh?). As you apparently had to do, I had to Google-translate the info I did find about him -- and even though Googlish is a very difficult language to read and I was preoccupied with other matters at the time, I was able to figure out that he is one of those "truthers" about various matters -- in other words, a right-wing conspiracy nut.
ReplyDeleteHaving failed in the US and the English-speaking world, Lenny is clearly pandering to the Fatherland fans again, but it's only a matter of time before he gets himself in trouble there again. Especially since Germany has a lower tolerance for hate speech than the US does.
Finally, I'm truly amazed that Lenny even has room in his arse for any more phony statistics, seeing as how that particular orifice is probably overstuffed, thanks to Rodolfo Plascencia's nose.
